I. Regularly cleaning the mulch film of multi-span greenhouses is necessary to ensure adequate sunlight transmission within the greenhouse.
This is especially important for Greenhouse in winter plastic multi-span greenhouses, particularly under the low temperatures of spring. Cleaning and repainting should be done on sunny, warm days.
When Greenhouse are not in use, the mulch film should be collected promptly and stored in a cool, shaded place. After harvesting the top crop, carefully remove it from the greenhouse.
After removal, gently wipe with a soft cloth and brush, avoiding prolonged soaking and rubbing. After washing, air dry in a cool, ventilated place, then roll it up for storage. Do not overlap to avoid damage and sticking. Do not place heavy objects on it during storage, and take precautions against rodents.
II. Regularly reinforce and repair the greenhouse. Repair any cracks immediately. Repair methods: Use transparent tape to cover the torn areas, or use a special film-coating adhesive, or cover the damaged area with a new layer of film.
III. Wrap the protruding parts or the entire frame of the Polycarbonate Greenhouse steel frame with cloth to prevent film abrasion. The method involves wrapping all the steel pipe supports inside the greenhouse with waste cloth or non-woven fabric, separating the steel pipes from the greenhouse film to prevent contact between them, and then securing the cloth strips with nylon cloth.
The rope prevents the cloth strips from falling off; its function is to prevent friction and damage to the film; secondly, it prevents the steel pipes from being directly exposed to sunlight, thus avoiding temperature increases. Excessive heat can cause injury, wrinkling, or breakage.
