Generally, Greenhouse should be watered around noon in winter, as the temperature is higher then and the side effects are less. If possible, use well water for watering to minimize temperature fluctuations and allow the plants to adapt more quickly.
Watering should be flexible. Here are three key principles: water appropriately on sunny days, water less or not at all on cloudy days, and never water on windy or snowy days. Following these principles will generally prevent problems.
This is because Greenhouse are prone to drought on sunny days due to high temperatures and rapid evaporation. As the weather changes from sunny to cloudy, the temperature drops, reducing evaporation, so the amount of water should be reduced and the intervals longer.
Inside the Commercial Greenhouse, there are significant temperature differences in different parts, so the amount of water should vary.
In the southern part of the greenhouse and near heat sources such as stoves, the temperature is higher, and evaporation is greater, so the amount of water should be increased accordingly.
On the east, west, and north sides of the greenhouse, the temperature is relatively lower, and the daylight hours are shorter, so the amount of water should be reduced accordingly.
