Currently, most Commercial Greenhouse in my country still rely on scattered coal combustion for heating, which is inefficient and easily produces toxic gases such as carbon monoxide, posing a serious threat to farmers' safety and air quality.
While common heating methods such as electric heating, air source heat pump heating, and solar heating are relatively safe, they still suffer from drawbacks such as high installation and operating costs and susceptibility to ambient air pollution.
Although the initial cost of using biomass boilers for Greenhouse heating is high, with appropriate design improvements, its application can promote the recycling of crop straw within the Greenhouse, enabling self-production and self-sale of biomass resources, thereby reducing costs. Furthermore, the boiler combustion gases are clean and pollution-free, and the produced carbon dioxide can promote crop growth, achieving a multi-purpose effect.
