Recently, the Pengshui high-end intelligent glass greenhouse project, planned, designed, and constructed entirely by Chongqing Qingcheng Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingcheng Agriculture"), was fully completed. The complete set of diversified soilless cultivation systems simultaneously passed acceptance and was officially delivered for local operation. Based on the geographical and climatic characteristics of the Wuling Mountains in southeastern Chongqing, Qingcheng Agriculture successfully completed the entire chain of the intelligent greenhouse project in the mountains with a complete set of localized customized facility agriculture solutions, injecting core momentum into the transformation and upgrading of modern agriculture in Pengshui with its professional technical strength.
Pengshui is located in the heart of the Wuling Mountains, characterized by numerous mountains, limited arable land, fragmented farmland, and variable climate. Traditional farming methods have limited output and weak resilience. To develop a high-value-added, high-quality fruit and vegetable industry, standardized and controllable modern planting methods are urgently needed. After extensive research and comparison, the local government ultimately selected Chongqing Qingcheng Agriculture, a local company with deep expertise in Southwest China's facility agriculture sector and familiarity with the pain points of Chongqing's mountainous agriculture, to undertake the project.
From the project's inception, Qingcheng Agriculture's technical team conducted multiple on-site surveys in Pengshui. They abandoned the generic greenhouse design templates used in plains areas and, considering the large diurnal temperature range, high rainfall, and limited land in the mountainous region, comprehensively customized and optimized the greenhouse's main structure, lighting and ventilation systems, and water and fertilizer cultivation equipment to create a dedicated smart agricultural space tailored to local production needs.
During the greenhouse's main construction phase, Qingcheng Agriculture maintained strict control over construction standards throughout, using thickened materials to build the overall framework. The structural load-bearing capacity, corrosion resistance, and wind and snow resistance were fully matched to the complex weather conditions of the mountainous area. The greenhouse exterior is uniformly fitted with high-transmittance tempered glass, coupled with the company's self-developed electric external shading control system, which automatically adjusts the shading amplitude according to the intensity of sunlight, stabilizing the light and temperature inside the greenhouse. The indoor facilities were pre-installed with a complete set of water and fertilizer circulation pipelines, ventilation and heat dissipation components, and a sealed tempered glass entrance door, creating an independent microenvironment for planting that is isolated from harsh weather and can be fully automatically controlled, ensuring uninterrupted production throughout the year from a hardware perspective. From the construction of the steel frame main structure to the installation of glass enclosures and sunshade doors and windows, Qingcheng Agriculture strictly controlled the quality of every process to ensure the project was completed and delivered smoothly.
From the initial site survey and greenhouse structure design to the construction of the steel frame and glass engineering, the production and installation of soilless cultivation equipment, and the debugging of the water and fertilizer system and the technical briefing on planting and maintenance, Qingcheng Agriculture provided a one-stop, full-chain service for the Pengshui project. Professional technicians were stationed on-site throughout the process to promptly resolve various issues during construction and equipment debugging, ensuring the project was completed on schedule and with high quality. After the industrial park is put into operation, it will not only continuously and stably produce high-quality fruits and vegetables, driving local villagers to find employment and increase their income, but also create a benchmark demonstration for Pengshui's exploration of efficient mountain agriculture.
